VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA (January 8th, 2025) – Wenco International Mining Systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Jed Dairy as our new Director of Open Autonomy. In this role, Jed will lead the strategic growth and development of Open Autonomy as a business unit, guiding productization efforts, fostering partnerships with autonomy providers and clients, and ensuring operational excellence in both implementation and support.
Jed brings extensive expertise in autonomous haulage systems (AHS)and mining technology solutions. From his previous leadership role within Komatsu’s AHS global support group at Modular Mining, where he managed deployments worldwide. With a track record of successfully managing the implementation and support of over ten established and operational AHS sites globally, Jed spearheaded Komatsu AHS’ first right-hand drive mine, first non-hard rock mine, and first Northern Hemisphere commercial operation. His leadership in these projects has been instrumental in advancing the field of autonomous haulage systems
Jed’s visionary approach to digital transformation has been demonstrated in his work beyond AHS. At KPMG LLP, he oversaw international compliance programs and digital technology initiatives for major multinational corporations. His leadership in integrating technology for compliance was recognized with a 2024 Project of the Year award, showcasing his ability to drive innovation at an enterprise scale.
