Test Analyst

Wenco has R&D offices located in Vancouver Canada and Brisbane Australia.

As Wenco continues to build our next generation of technology, we need a wide range of professionals to help us achieve our objectives. We are currently looking for a 3-4 month contract Test Analyst II to join our R&D center in Richmond, BC.

The successful candidate will join our engineering team and work in a collaborative, Agile environment. Your contribution to the team will be crucial in evolving our test automation framework and ensuring the quality of our product. Key Responsibilities

• Test
  • Design and execute manual test cases linked to user stories.
  • Build and maintain test scripts to automate the regression tests.
  • Collaborate with development teams on technical design and implementation, as well as on developing test scenarios and test cases.
  • Create and modify in-house testing tools and simulators.
• Support and Troubleshooting
  • Investigate/troubleshoot site issues and help developers with problem reproduction steps.
  • Identify, document, track and verify software defects and record them in defect tracking systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the team and the R&D department.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Passionate, curious people who work well in a team and who can work independently if needed.
• Preferred:
  • experience in troubleshooting complex systems that involve software/hardware;
  • knowledge of test automation tools.

Education & Eligibility

• Must have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent
  • New grads and people starting their careers are welcome.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
